McCloskey + Family

This session was definitely an adventure! These guys are always such a joy to be around. Little Levi just turned 1 a few weeks ago and this was such a perfect session to document this special season in their lives and the holidays. Thanks for letting me be a part of your day and Merry Christmas! :)

Calhoun + Christmas

I love Christmas. I love Christmas lights. I love this sweet family! Here's a few photos from an extra-mini shoot the Calhouns ask me to do for Christmas! Ty was not as excited about this as his mom and I were. ;) Max of course was absolutely the sweetest thing ever, and Devin was a good sport about it the whole time. :) Thanks for letting me a part of your Christmas this year! :)

My Semi-Homemade Christmas

This Christmas I really, really enjoyed making a few decorations and making our home feel cozy and Christmasy. :) Here's a few photos of what I chose! I have LOVED scanning Pinterest for ideas. I'm sure I'm not the only one! ;) Feel free to pin away for your own inspiration and you can follow me here!

You can find the website where I got the idea and FREE printable letters here!

This was my grandmother's nativity scene that she hand painted with my mom! SO special!

For this piece I just filled a glass vase with pretty red ribbon and peppermints. :)

I got the FREE printable for the picture in the frame here! She has lots of other cute ones too!
The candles and frame were half off at JoAnn's and I put tape around the candles to create the lines I wanted, covered the gaps in modgepodge, covered them in red glitter, and it turned out SO pretty! The garland was also half off at Hobby Lobby. :)

I found these cinnamon scented pinecones at JoAnns also half off, and just spray painted them white! I sprayed them at a distance to create the 'frosty' look.

After I spray painted the pine cones I had a ton left over so I decided to create a centerpiece! I painted more modgepodge on the pince cones and sprinkled glitter all over them. I may have a slight glitter obsession. :) This task a little tedious, but so worth it!

It's a good think I like glitter. I am still finding glitter. EVERYWHERE.

We chose not to do a traditional 'wreath' for our door this Christmas so I found this instead! Again, all the fillers came from Hobby Lobby at half off, and it literally took my 2 minutes to fix the bouquet how I wanted it.

Merry Christmas from my home to yours! :)
