Trick or Treat

My absolute FAVORITE part of Halloween is the costumes! I love seeing all the fun, cute, and creative things people come up with! People put so much time and effort into costumes that I think they should be showcased! And what better way to show off your costumes than with a contest?! So here's the info:

1)Post a picture of your (or your child's/childrens) costume to my facebook page. Include the names of the people in the picture, so people will know who to vote for! ;)
2)Tell EVERYONE and send people to VOTE for your picture by 'liking' the photo.

Contest runs until Thursday night at 10pm and the winner will be announced on Friday. Whoever submitted the picture with the most votes ('likes') will get a FREE mini session! Ready, set, GO! :)

Journey Saige + 1 Year

Ok, I cannot believe it was this time last year we were doing Jillian's maternity pictures, waiting on Journey to come and make the world a happier place. And now, one year later, she's here, so big, and filling so many people's hearts and lives with joy! I am so blessed to be a part of her life, and that she is part of mine! This session will always be close to my heart, as I'm sure the photos will be treasured forever by her gorgeous and wonderful mother. Being able to watch people grow up and become who they will be is one of my favorite things about my job. Document all the special seasons in people's lives is such an honor, and I treasure all my clients for trusting me with this huge responsibility. Jillian and Journey, I love both of you dearly and happy birthday pretty girl!!! :)

**On a side note, it was SUPER cold during this shoot, and Journey was a trooper the whole time and did such a great job!!  Feel free to leave Journey some birthday love in the comments!! :)

It's that time friends! Time to start thinking about your favorite holiday traditions, which house can hold the most people for your ever-growing families, and Christmas cards! Mini Christmas Sessions are designed to be quick and painless for some great end of the year photos to spread all around with your Christmas cheer (while you sing loud for all to hear ;), but with the same high quality delivered in every session. Perspective

This Saturday was the first day I got to just hang out so I decided to be lazy and do a little bit of 'window' shopping! Just to clarify, my window shopping is online shopping and finding random, awesome, pretty things from places that I love. Most I never buy (as is the true intention of window shopping;), but it's just fun to look at all the new trends! These are a few things I came across that I loved! Jessica + Senior

Jessica is making her absolutely gorgeous debut on the blog today! She's a stunning senior this year at Canyon High School and is planning on starting at Texas Tech next fall! I was verrry happy to hear that, I know you'll LOVE it! ;)  She is such a joy to be around and I have loved getting to know her more and more! Jessica and her mom serve a ton a Hillside Christian Church and I can't wait to see how God continues to move in her life.
