Jake + Jett

Oh how I love spending time with these sweet boys!!! They have their parents' sweet spirit and are such an encouragement every time I'm around them. I get to hang out with Jake in Clubhouse at Hillside every Sunday and have loved getting to know this great family! I had the privilege of doing some family photos for them back at the beginning of the year, but Jett turned 18 months this May and when his mom contacted me about doing some more pictures, needless to say I was beyond excited! Jake is 4 and is also growing up fast! I love it when families thrive and indulge in every stage of their kids' lives because time is so fleeting, and the love this family has for one another and the Lord is so refreshing! We got to do the shoot at their house, and it was SO much fun! I mean, I knew it would be fun but having the kids just hang out in their own environment made it so much easier to capture who they are. Megan & Colby, thanks so much for letting me hang out with and photograph your sweet boys, and being such great friends! :)

Jernigan + Family

You can see the love this family has for one another all over their pictures! It was such a joy to get to know them and spend time with this precious family. Joe is a pastor of a church in Shamrock and the church has always been a huge part of their lives and wanted to get some pictures there to make those memories last forever, which I thought way cool! I had such a lovely afternoon with these guys and was definitely blessed by their friendship! Thanks so much guys, you have a such a beautiful and gracious family!

Bridal Sessions

Ahh, wedding season! :) An egagement/wedding is an extremely special time in a woman's life. I loved EVERY minute of that, and love to look at the pictures that were taken during that special season. As much as a bride and her family put into the wedding, it's important to take a step back, breathe, and simply enjoy the moment. A great way to this is a bridal session! A bridal session is done where the bride gets a whole session in her wedding dress, to have stunning visual images of this special season to be passed down for generations. In keeping with tradition, the bridals are done weeks prior to the wedding but are not published until after the bride's big day! A bridal session is also a great benefit for the bride because this is a great way to test out hair and makeup that you are planning for your wedding day, and you'll see before hand how well they photograph. I've never really advertised this aspect of my photography sessions before and since I have a few coming up and people are getting engaged all over the place, I thought I would feature them here on the blog, just so ya know! :)

 

*Due to the increase in time and special care needed during the session for the wedding dress, the bridal investment is more than an average family/senior/engagement session. The extra preparation and care is priority to the photographer, and is worth the investment!

Mariah + Senior

You know those people that you're just always excited to hang out with? These are some of those people to me! Marissa was my roommate my second semester at Tech, and even though I got married and moved out and she totally replaced me ;) she'll always be my roomie! We always had so much fun together so when she called me about doing some senior pictures for her sister who is graduating this year, needless to say I was really, really excited! :) Mariah, her sister, is just as beautiful and was so much fun to hang out with. Their mom came along too, which just added more character to the shoot and I loved it! P.S. They all have AMAZING hair. Hair envy is happening. Anyways, I was so blessed to get to spend the morning with you guys and can't wait to do it again! Congratulations Mariah, and thanks for letting me document this sweet season in your life! :)
